Maryland will be hosting the
National Black Staff Network Conference on February 27, 28, March
1, 2009!
The location is
slated for the Holiday Inn, Inner Harbor, Baltimore. This is a
familiar site to anyone having attended the annual MSTA Martin
Luther King Breakfast . I initially touched base with a number of
colleagues to gauge whether or not this was even feasible.
They presented an honest assessment of our capabilities and
possibilities. As a result, I am sending you this confirmation.
There is a lot of work for us to do, and I have received positive
assurances from friends like you that we can do this; or to borrow
a motivating phrase
"YES WE CAN!" (Senator Barack Obama)
