National Black Staff Network Conference 2010

The Tennessee Rolling on the River Team Members are cooking up the cornbread and putting out the southern hospitality red carpet to provide the logistics of our upcoming conference in Memphis, Tennessee-the Blues Capitol of the World!  We are working with the hotel, legendary blues clubs, casinos and other landmarks unique to this historically rich city to make sure our conference will be a memorable experience.  Conference dates:  February 25-28, 2009 

Registration:

There is a $175 registration fee for anyone who registers by December 1, 2009.  After December 1, 2009, the registration fees will increase as the registration form indicates. 

Registration includes:

Saturday Buffet Lunch  

Dynamic Workshops

Dinner Saturday
Memphis Sounds Blues Club Professional Networking
Sunday Brunch/Worship Service T-shirt
Refreshments/Spirits (Hospitality Room)  

Lodging:

The hotel hosting the conference is the Doubletree Hotel Downtown Memphis (185 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103).  We are in the process of setting up direct registration on-line.  In the meantime, you can call 901.528.1800; mention NEA NBSN-Tennessee.  Conference Discount Rates are $159 plus fees and taxes.  Please ONLY make reservations directly through the hotel and not through an outside agency.

State of Network Presentation:  This presentation will provide a comprehensive look at the entire NBSN.  This session will focus on future growth, development, and how members can contribute to the future success of the Association.  It will also provide participants with next year’s conference information.

Network Workshops:  Break-out sessions

Memphis Sounds Blues Club:  The club features an intimate setting with a live band that plays blues, jazz and R& B.  The club is a block away from the hotel
